*Up to $8,000 is FortisBC’s income-qualified Dual Fuel Heating System Rebate; the standard FortisBC dual fuel rebate is up to $4,000. Rebates are paid by FortisBC, not TruFinity, and are subject to FortisBC program terms, eligibility and funding, which may change or end without notice. Eligibility includes an active FortisBC residential gas account and household income limits for the income-qualified amount. Qualifying systems pair an eligible electric heat pump (SEER ≥16 and HSPF ≥10, or SEER2 ≥15.2 and HSPF2 ≥8.5, minimum 12,000 BTU) with a gas furnace of 95% efficiency or higher, installed at the same time on or after October 15, 2026, by a registered contractor. Applications must be submitted to FortisBC within 6 months of the invoice date. See fortisbc.com/rebates for full terms.
The $2,000 TruFinity credit is applied to the invoice on a qualifying dual fuel installation. Customers choose either the $2,000 credit or 12 months at 0% interest, not both.
